J&E's Holiday Parties

Ella's 4th Birthday
Ella had an absolutely spectacular 4th Birthday. She had a cake with all of her friends at kindy. They all gathered around her as she blew out the candles on her ice cream cake. Lorenza, Miss Jenn, Miss Belinda and Miss Faye Marie were so special with Ella. She wanted to see a Harry Potter movie for her birthday so we went to see it at Rhodes. Ben bought them popcorn and soda. We had Sarah, Brian, Raleigh and Jane over to celebrate with cake and she opened her presents.

Friends :)
Realized we didn’t have any pics of our new American friends on the site! Brian and Sarah’s kids are Jane and Raleigh. Here are a few pics of them (also of Jemima and Oliver :). Jack and Ella have LOTS of fun with Raleigh and Jane. Ella absolutely adores Jane (she sometimes calls her Miss Jane because of their age difference, Jane is 10 :). Jack and Raleigh are in the same Year 2 class this year, so they are loving that

Can we keep him
Jack and Ella love friendly cats. Check out the first picture of the cat up high on a ledge out in our garden. Jack and Ella tried for at least 30 minutes to get the cat down using baskets, stools, all kinds of stuff. I went out and we were able to get it down. Ben was a true Bennett sucker when he granted the kids request to feed it. ;) The cat hung around for a bit but we haven’t seen it for awhile
